    A transcriptomic study investigating bovine colostrum intervention in zonulin transgenic mice, a model characterized by intestinal hyperpermeability and dysbiotic microbiota. RNA sequencing was used to explore molecular pathways and regulatory mechanisms associated with intestinal barrier function, immunity and inflammation.

    A systematic review and meta-analysis examining evidence on intestinal permeability in children and adolescents diagnosed with mental disorders. Five observational studies involving ADHD, ASD and OCD were included, highlighting possible associations between intestinal barrier markers and neurodevelopmental disorders while also demonstrating substantial limitations and heterogeneity in the available evidence.

    Evidence note: Observational evidence can identify associations but does not establish causality.
